Dr. Matthew W. Gray is an ecophysiologist whose research focuses on understanding the physiological response of marine invertebrates to current and future environmental conditions. His work seeks to clarify the ecosystem services (i.e. biofiltration, habitat creation, etc.) provided by these organisms over space and time to improve environmental quality. His studies are intended to broaden the scientific knowledge base and provide relevant information to help inform stakeholders, management, and policymakers.
