Jonathan Miller has been with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for over three years serving as an assistant project manager for the Rebuild by Design Hudson River (RBDH) Project located primarily in Hoboken, NJ. Jonathan is involved in the administration of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Grant funds for the project, design review, stakeholder coordination, as well as construction management and oversight of the Sewer System Modification component of the RBDH Project.
Prior to joining the NJDEP, Jonathan earned an M.S. degree in Oceanography at Rutgers University. Concurrently, Jonathan studied as a Coastal Climate Risk and Resiliency Fellow at Rutgers University through the National Science Foundation. This fellowship focused on providing interdisciplinary training on how to better integrate the various scientific, engineering, planning and socioeconomic elements of coastal systems into resiliency approaches, while placing particular emphasis on strategies to effectively communicate the issues of climate risk to stakeholders.
