Andrew began organizing with the New York City chapter of Sunrise Movement after he graduated from law school in January 2022. While he participates in most of the many teams within the chapter, his main focus is on organizing around city and state legislation. Andrew has contributed to lobbying efforts within the state to get the Build Public Renewables Act passed as well as the rest of the Climate, Jobs and Justice package of bills lead by the NY Renews coalition. He also helped draft a resolution that was introduced to City Council calling on the state to fully fund the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
